This is my small collection of Rhodesian Army badges.

This collection initially had a glass cover over the badges with lettering saying "Regimental Badges of the Rhodesian Army" - I will be getting a new glass covering for it later. The original glass covering was broken while being shipped to me - so I had a metal plate made (with the same text that was on the glass before) to match the plates on the sides listing the badges. This collection also had the numbers under each badge on paper, but I had these paper numbers replaced by metal numbered plates to match the rest of the plates used in the collection. So, in the end this is a bit modified from the original. There is a little brass plate on the top with the number 0015, making it 15 of 1000.

Officially approved limited edition collection of 20 badges of the regiments and corps of the former Rhodesian Army. The Cabinet: The collection is presented in a custom made cabinet of Afromosia wood,it has doors for safe keeping which can be folded back for display purposes. The doors are embellished with the former official creast,on the inside there are anodised plates carrying the names of the Regiments and Corps with reference to number and order of each individual badge.

There is a limited Edition of 1000 cabinets with a numbered plate showing detail of its individual issue number .

Dimensions: The outside measurements of the cabinet are 48 cms x 43 cms (19 ins x 17 ins ) x 7 cms ( 2.25 ins ) deep when the cabinet doors are in the closed position.

Manufactured by: Sterling Crafts, Koblenze House, Speke Avenue, Salisbury (now Harare).
